UP for sale is a great old chevy, it was painted the original green along with all new upholstery & interior original to the car about 15 years ago. This car has been in the family for over 40 years & I know & have talked to the first owner who owned a mechanical shop & kept this car maintained & stored in a heated garage the whole time he owned it. The only small problem it has now is the speedometer quit working last fall, I have replaced the cable and tested the speedo,so the only thing it can be is the drive gear in the transmission. I've searched & can't find one anywhere but I have found a complete tranny that can either be swapped out complete or pulled apart for the drive gear. The car also needs new weather mouldings. This car has been driven weekly in the summer months for the past 5 years.
