Rendezvous Picnic #9 & Spamfest on May 26, 2019 is expected to exceed the more than 200 classic vehicles that found their way to the Qualicum First Nation's campground at the mouth of the Big Qualicum River last year. Come park in the sun, picnic, meet and greet, and share in a "Free" attendance celebration of SPAM and Classic and Collector Vehicles on display! We expect that there will be similar Spam presentations looking for awards as in the past 8 years including SPAM brownies, SPAM and cheese scones, SPAM brittle, SPAM (egg) rolls, SPAM in a blanket, SPAM wrapped in bacon, SPAM sushi, SPAM-A-Bobs, traditional fried sliced SPAM, and yet to be created secret recipes. Locally organized and not affiliated with anything or any business but the business of having fun! Supported by V.I.Cruises which is a large group of Car Cruisers with membership from BC to Manitoba and down through the mid to western USA that just like driving their cars to car show events of all kinds.
This year's gathering is held Sunday May 26, 2019 - 10:30 AM till ?????? at the First Nations Campground, Old Island Highway, Qualicum Bay. Bring your Hot Rod, Custom, Classic, Truck, Daily Driver, Rat Rod, Sports Car or prized Motorbike. Prizes will be awarded for the best Spam dishes! Dash Plaques for the first 185 display vehicles to arrive. Be early! Last year we ran out of dash plaques.
NO COST - JUST GOOD TIMES and FREE to ATTEND, do some VEHICLE RESTORATION NETWORKING, and maybe check out some Spam recipes .
